You've probably never heard of Indiana's richest town

Indiana's richest town is home to just under 16,000 Hoosiers, and chances are you've never been there.
St. John is the wealthiest town in Indiana, according to a new study by 24/7 Wall St. The study used data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey. This included median household incomes, poverty rates, median home values and more from towns across the country with populations ranging from 1,000 to 25,000 residents.
The small town is located just west of Crown Point and is under an hour's drive to Chicago. It's in the midst of a construction boom with hundreds of new-built homes currently listed for sale.
St. John has a median household income of $95,777, according to the study. That is nearly double the median household income for the state of Indiana. Also, St. John's poverty rate is extremely low at 2.9 percent when compared to the state's overall rate of 14.5 percent.

St. John is also one of the most educated places in the Hoosier state. Nearly 40 percent of the town's population holds a bachelor's degree. "An estimated 97.1 percent of St. John adults have graduated high school, the largest share in Indiana," the study states.
The Shrine of Christ's Passion is located in the small town. The landmark includes a half-mile path and garden with 40 bronze statues. Through settings and recorded narrations by veteran journalist Bill Kurtis, visitors travel with Jesus to Calvary.
